My enthusiasm for crafting with metal started in the Army. Using my skills on practical projects by day, I let my imagination run free in evenings and weekends, producing a huge range of metal art just for fun.
Always wanting to learn more, I have travelled overseas and throughout the UK, seeking out the masters of the craft and building my skills and techniques. Both Michael Chaiken of Newlyn and Kevin Jenkins of Florida have significantly influenced my work.
I love nothing more than taking the germ of an idea and shaping it into unique sculptures or pieces of art that attract admirers.
I can be found in my ever-evolving workshop in Wiltshire, working with new and recycled materials, creating something new (but don't expect it to be tidy!). Evenings are often spent reading about historic techniques and designs to inspire the next idea.
I am equally comfortable with steel and copper, and enjoy the challenge of new commissions , making bespoke and unique handmade gifts for the home and garden.
